Selling ad space on your car tends to be more popular in America so most of the companies listed below are US Based. However, I did a little research and found a few UK and worldwide companies too.
US Companies
Wrapify
Founded in 2015, Wrapify now has 250,000 drivers across America. They work with some of the world’s biggest brands such as Coca Cola, Shell, and Google. They’ve also been featured on the Inc5000, a list of the top performing companies in the US.
It’s safe to say that Wrapify has a track record and your car is in good hands. Wrapify pays drivers for placing ads on their cars and bases the payment on how much you drive.
How to apply
The application process is quite easy to follow. You first have to download the app, then fill out an application.
The application form is a background check about your driving experience including information about any accidents or violations you’ve had in the last 3 years.
Once you’ve passed the application. You drive your normal daily routes and the Wrapify app will send you campaigns based on where you have visited.
In regards to you car being wrapped in advertisements. It depends on the campaign type so your car could be fully wrapped or partially wrapped. Fully wrapped cars tend to make more money on average.

- Your car must be 2010 or newer.
- You wont be accepted if you’ve had more than 2 accidents in the last 3 years.
- You must be 21 or over to apply.
Carvertise
Carvertise is headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, and was founded in 2012. They pay you to wrap your car in ads.
The pay you receive depends on the locations you drive in because your location ultimately determines which companies want to advertise on your car.
You can earn anywhere from $350 to $1500 per campaign with most people reporting making around the $100 mark.
It’s important to remember that most campaigns last about a month.
How to apply
To apply to Carvertise you have to fill out an application form. You must have a clean driving record, be at least 21 years old, and drive no less than 25 miles per day.
Important requirements before applying
- Own at least a 2005 car.
- Have no scraped or damages on the car.
- Don’t lie about the daily mileage requirement. They track your driving via GPS.
Vugo
Vugo is a Rideshare advertising company founded in Minneapolis in 2015. They provide advertising solutions to companies in the form of video.
A tablet is placed in the driver’s car and it plays advertisements to passengers. This is a great alternative company to those who are not comfortable with placing ad wrap on their car.
Instead of having your car covered in ads, you can place a tablet computer on the dashboard or behind the headrest. This option seems very convenient!
According to Vugo, drivers can make up to $300 per campaign. It’s also important to note that campaign availability is dependent on where you live. So built-up areas like cities will see more campaigns than more rural areas.

Simply fill out the application form on the website and wait for Vugo to get back to you.
Important requirements before applying
- Must do at least 200 trips to qualify for payment.
- You have to pay $9 per month for the Vugo’s ad software.
Free Car Media
This neat little company is based in Los Angeles, California. They provide advertising for companies in the form of car wraps and back window stickers.
Free Car Media claim drivers can make up to $400 dollars per campaign. Most campaigns last between 6 to 24 months and can even last longer.
How to apply
Simply fill in the application form and you will be registered on their system. They will then match you to advertisers.
Important requirements before applying
- You have to undergo a driving background check.
- If you are selected for the rear window vinyl campaign, you must install it yourself.
UK Companies
Most of these car advertising companies are based in the United States. But not all of them. Here are two popular car advertising companies that pay you to wrap your car in the United Kingdom.
Car Quids
Car Quids has been featured in leading publications in the UK such as the BBC, The Sun, and the Daily Mail. They pay drivers to display vinyl wraps on their cars.
Typical advertising campaigns last two to three months. You will be paid in monthly increments depending on the duration of the campaign.
Typically, drivers will make between 60 and 100 pounds. As of now, you cannot make more than 100 pounds.
How to apply
To apply, fill out the driver registration form on the website. They will ask you about your driving habits, lifestyle, and the type of car you have.

- You need to send photographic evidence of how much you have traveled.
- 17 is the minimum age and you must have a full license.

Hailing from London City, Adverttu was founded in 2015 with the goal to revolutionize car advertising.
Drivers can make up to 175 pounds per month depending on the type of campaign and how much they have traveled.

Adverttu has an app you can download and sign up through. The app is also used to view current campaigns in your area.

Worldwide Companies
StickerRide
Although not really worldwide, StickerRide is based in the USA, Europe, Russia, and Kenya. Similar to Adverttu, they also have an app that tracks your driving and earnings.
Earnings are calculated through points you acquire through the app. One point is 0.1 cents or pence depending on your location.
Points are verified by the driver and once they’re verified they can be converted into money. StickerRide suggests doing this every day.
